Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025: Trendy Designs and Inspo for the Season

Autumn is always an ideal reason to change my nails. Perhaps it is the sound of falling leaves or the warm outfits I drag out of the back of my closet- either way, my manicure must suit the mood of the season. However, the true question here is, how can you capture the spirit of fall and at the same time have your nails shining as miniature pieces of art? In my case, 3D nail effects would be the solution. They borrow seasonal colours and textures and make them dimensional as jewelry on your fingertips. Below, I have the most uplifting fall nail designs of 2025, with ideas, colors, and pro-level touches that I personally tested or admired in the best in the beauty field.

Golden Maple Drama

The elongated almond ends reveal a dramatic autumn atmosphere with bright maple leaf paintings and glittering glitter decorations. The foliage is arranged in shades of red, orange, and amber, which also gives that fall atmosphere. The real genius to this style is how the design integrates flat painting with a 3D glitter edge, which provides both depth and motion on the nails.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Golden Maple Drama

To achieve this appearance I would grab a sheer nude base polish (OPI Bubble Bath is a great one) and a fine detail brush to draw the lines of maple leaves in different colors such as Essies Playing Koi and Big Apple Red. To make the glitter framing, I would apply heavy gold and copper glitters encased in a topcoat of gel. This combination provides that glittery, near-molten look at the ends.

When I attempted to redo a similar design, I realized, patience is the greatest: it is a very delicate task to paint the veins of the leaves using a micro brush. Celebrity nail artist Betina Goldstein once told Allure that less detailing implements create the most difference, and that is what is happening here, less is more when defining those leaf details.

To me, this design represents the most final fall mood booster. Looking down at my hands, it seems to me that I was holding a part of the season. It is daring, yet in a fashionable manner, and people always wonder where I got my nails done.

Golden Leaf Embellishments

The squared-off nail shape here is painted with nude polish but what is most interesting is the raised golden leaves scattered throughout the set. These metal accents provide a real 3D effect, such as small charms located literally on the surface. Together with faint orange dots and neutral white floral details, the overall design is playful and luxurious.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Golden Leaf Embellishments

To achieve this appearance (literally), I would recommend buying a bunch of nail embellishment kits that contain 3D charms that are already shaped. Swarovski crystals or metallic foils are a mainstay of many pros, but in this instance, a collection of metallic foils in the shape of flat leaves with their backs cut off is ideal. The foundation polish must be a light blush nude such as the Rue of Zoya that allows the gold leaves to shine.

To put is using a good hand–gluing nails to a substance or inserting charms into a coating of gell makes them stay in place. Nail pro Jin Soon Choi frequently discusses balance in nail art: how 3D details can shine without looking overwhelming when the background is kept neutral. That philosophy is exactly applicable in this case.

The best thing about this design is that it is versatile. It is as effective in the case of a Thanksgiving dinner as it is in the case of a simple excursion to the pumpkin patch. It is classy like a piece of jewelry, and yet it is still braver than wintry and playful.

Soft Neutrals with Gold Foil

It is a manicure of subtle impact. Square, short to medium, nails are soft beige polished, with white leafy branches and irregular spots of gold foil on them. It is the type of art that appears to be easy on the eye but has layers upon layers to consider the closer the viewer gets to it. The foil absorbs the light in a different way at all angles and gives a luxe 3D effect.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Soft Neutrals with Gold Foil

In recreating this, I would certainly employ transfer gold foil sheets (Ciaté London has an excellent one). In the case of the base, a creamy finish such as Essie Ballet Slippers with a matte top paint makes the foil even more prominent. A fine liner brush loaded with opaque white gel polish would be used to attract the leafy details.

To achieve this appearance you don’t need to go to the salon, at-home foils are actually not that hard, once you learn how to use them. Celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik is fond of reminding clients that foil placement should appear uneven; the spontaneity is what is natural and stylish.

On a personal level, I had to resist this design since it combines both the comfortable and glamorous. It is subtle enough to wear on a daily basis but it reflects light in such a way that people just can’t help but look twice.

Amber Leaf Elegance

This design has almond-shaped nails with fine amber-orange leaves cascading over a transparent nude base. The design is smooth and yet discernible, such as the manner in which leaves are blown about by a fall breeze. The effect of three dimensions is achieved here by applying various shades of orange to give shadows and depth to the nail surface.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Amber Leaf Elegance

I would recreate by stamping plates with leaf patterns (MoYou London does some fab seasonal ones), stamping over a sheer base of pink with shades such as burnt orange and amber. That glassy look is augmented by a glossy topcoat that deepens the appearance of the leaves.

Regarding use, it is surprisingly easy to use compared to hand painted leaves. The art is layering–the result of letting each shade dry before putting it on the others is an overlapping effect which looks natural.

I find this set personal because it is soft enough to evoke memories of early fall mornings when the air is cold but not cold. It is a muttering sort of design, not screaming, and sometimes that is precisely the atmosphere I desire.

Moody Burgundy Contrast

Now we venture a little further: smooth square nails in a rich chocolate-burgundy, but with a white nail in the middle, with one red leaf on it. The dark color is rich, and the contrasting white nails become the canvas on which the slightest 3D-inspired accents are placed.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Moody Burgundy Contrast

In order to create this I would suggest polishes such as OPIs Lincoln Park After Dark to give it the dark look with a crisp white gel such as Gelish Arctic Freeze. A stamping plate may be used to add this leaf or a striping brush may be used to add it. The topcoat of the gel is high shine to provide that lacquered glassy look.

The first time the similar color combination was used, I understood just how striking the dark nails would feel with the minimum accents. Nail professionals tend to declare that burgundy is the red lipstick of fall nails: classic, strong, and empowering.

This design is a favorite of mine when I want to dress up in a minute. It is dramatic, but not loud, sophisticated yet playful with the seasonal detail. Anyone who wants to leave their comfort zone this fall should have this.

Cozy Knit Texture

This design is literally a fall design featuring one nail with a raised knit-sweater finish and the others embellished with matte warm browns and leafy designs. The impact is both visual and tactile, as the manicure will be a continuation of your favorite fall wardrobe. The 3D knit texture is immediately noticeable and matches perfectly with the natural colors.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Cozy Knit Texture

I would begin with matte gel polish in terracotta and beige colors to construct this set: CND Shellac Brick Knit is a powerful base. In the case of the sweater detail, you require a heavier gel to pipe a design on using a fine detail brush and then curing each line with the lamp to give it that layered, raised knit effect. The leaf patterns may be stamped out in stamping plates or may be painstakingly painted in rusty reds and oranges.

It is a somewhat time consuming process that is extremely gratifying. Nail artist Sarah Bland once told Harper Bazaar that textured nails are the way to add warmth to your manicure the way clothes add warmth to your wardrobe. It really is just like putting a warm sweater on your fingertips.

The best part of this manicure is how it rings with the season. It is not fancy, yet it has a quality that is soothing. It immediately reminds me of sitting by the fire with a cup of tea and the wind blowing outside, whenever I have tried it.

Bold Metallic Leaves

The nails here are polished with a metallic base of gold, and each one is decorated with a sculpted 3D leaf of fall colors of yellow, orange, and burgundy. The reflective polish and matte carved leaves form a strong contrast that makes the nails miniature canvases of seasonal art.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Bold Metallic Leaves

To do this, I would apply some kind of chrome polish on the base such as Essie Good as Gold. The 3D leaves need acrylic powder or sculpting gel- this should be applied with a small brush to create a layer of depth then painted in bright autumn colors. This mixture of sculpting and painting provides the manicure with its characteristic raised effect.

It may be a difficult task to create the 3D acrylic art in the beginning, but with practice, it will become perfect. It is a common belief among U.S. nail educator Natalie Minerva that the key to avoiding bulky outcomes is to create volume in thin layers. I think of that tip when I do nail art such as this, it takes time and it takes time to build.

On a personal level, this design reminds me of the type of manicure you use when you want to be seen. It is audacious, self-confident, and celebratory, befitting any person who would love to shine at a Christmas dinner or festival.

Enchanted Forest Greens

This design is about the unpredictable aspect of fall, but with a rich forest-green palette with mushrooms and leafy accents. The 3D mushrooms are fun and almost cartoonish, and the gradient green glitter gives the mushrooms depth and magic. The sensation is one of entering an autumn woodland scene painted directly onto your nails.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Enchanted Forest Greens

To do the same I would start with a deep green gel polish, such as OPI Stay Off the Lawn! at the base with a little gold glitter on the edges of the cuticles to give it some depth. The mushrooms may be shaped with gel sculpting technique, and surrounded with orange tops and white dots to pop. Fern leaves are stamped or hand-painted to contribute to the fairy-tale forest theme.

It is a fun but elegant design. Nail professionals in the U.S have also adopted fantasy nature designs, with magazines such as Nailpro Magazine showing mushroom and foliage designs as the standout nail designs in 2025. This appearance fits that trend perfectly.

I love the design as it is creative, but not necessarily a fall manicure. Wearing a similar set in green, people would always ask me whether they were inspired by fairy tales, and I understood that nails can be very whimsical.

Glittering Autumn French

The set is a combination of squared tips and glittery French designs in gold and burgundy with each nail having raised maple leaves in red, orange, and yellow. The metallic accent and leaf appliquage make the design look luxurious, combining traditional structure with the new 3D art.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Glittering Autumn French

I would apply a French tip gradient glitter using a sponge or layering look to create this look starting with a nude gel base. In the case of the leaves, 3D nail charms or sculpted gel appliques are ready-made options. To keep the glitter and 3D details intact, it is important to seal everything with a high-gloss topcoat.

Nail artist Tom Bachik once wrote that a French manicure is a black dress–you can always remake it. This design confirms that it took the age-old French tip and gave it a serious fall flavor.

This design is showstopperish. It is not too glamorous and can be worn during fall weddings or celebratory dinners. On a personal level, it is the type of appearance that makes me feel immediately presentable and season-appropriate.

Fiery Red Maple

The last appearance in this set is the glossy square nails, which have a bright red metallic nail polish and crisp white accent nails, which bear painted maple leaves. The 3D effect is created by the stratification of the shades on the leaves, which seem to be nearly lifted out of the plain background.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Fiery Red Maple

In order to duplicate it, I would apply a shimmering red gel polish such as Sooki by Zoya to the bold nails, and pure white gel to the accents. A fine brush can be used to paint the leaves, and to give them depth, they can be shaded with various shades of orange and burgundy. The 3D effect can be further added by using small rhinestone dots or gel bubbles.

This appearance is not as difficult to create as it might appear the trick is to mix the colors of the leaves before they are completely dry, the shadow appears to have depth. It is the difference between a painted object and a painted light and shadow, which is what pro artists claim to paint, and that is the difference in this case.

Pumpkin Patch Charm

This fun design is an amalgamation of glossy pumpkin-orange nails and accent nails that have detailed pumpkins, golden leaves and even a small black spider to give it a Halloween flair. The combination of vintage fall symbols and glossy finishes makes a manicure feel festive and elegant. It is the type of appearance that makes you desire to drink cider and carve pumpkins.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Pumpkin Patch Charm

To do this, I would begin with a high-shine pumpkin orange polish such as Essie Playing Koi as the base color. The pumpkins can be painted using 3D gel or acrylic paints in orange colors with green stems and the spider can be sculpted with black gel polish to create the effect of raised. The background details are very clear with the help of a sharp white gel, and everything is clear and joyful.

The best thing with this design is that it is easy to customize. You can substitute spiders with acorns or additional pumpkins in case they are not your favorite. Fall nail art, according to nail experts at Allure, is all about themes that seem personal to us: spooky, cozy, or playful.

For me, this set is pure joy. It is courageous, light-hearted, and not too serious. The manicure, which is the most discussed of the looks I tried last year, also created quite a pumpkin look when I tried it last year, which is impossible not to smile at.

Rose Gold French Elegance

This manicure is the modernized version of the French tip that combines sharp white tips and rose-gold 3D leaf decorations. It is elegant and stylish enough as its simplicity combines with the metallic voices, as well as being seasonal. The leaves are modeled to rest a little elevated on the nail, and to reflect the light like jewellery.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Rose Gold French Elegance

I would recreate it by a sheer pink base such as OPI Bubble Bath, then a white gel polish on the top to create a clean line as the French tips. The rose-gold leaves may be obtained by nail charms or foil appliqués glued with builder gel. It is coated with a smooth surface that holds everything in place so that the metallic leaves are prominent.

Nail pro Tom Bachik once said that the details make the manicure memorable and this design represents that philosophy. The faint white background provides enough space to allow the rose-gold details to shine.

It is among the sets that I would use during more formal fall events. It is smooth and classic yet has that seasonal shine. It takes me personally to the golden hour light in October, soft and glowing and unforgettable.

Matte Autumn Minimalism

In this case, a layered matte beige finish serves as the ideal background against which two bold 3D leaves in deep red and amber appear. The almond shape ensures that the appearance remains classy, and the raised leaf patterns ensure that the manicure is more of a wearable art. It is very little, yet it is a lot.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Matte Autumn Minimalism

To create this appearance, I would recommend a matte topcoat on top of a nude base such as Zoya Jacqueline. Colored acrylic powders or gel sculpting polish can be applied to the leaves to add depth, and shaded in a variety of different tones. The veins are drawn with a fine liner brush to get the realistic look.

Minimalist designs may appear to be very simple yet need to be precise. Here, it speaks especially when celebrity nail artist Betina Goldstein is quoted saying that clean details are the most difficult to master.

For me, this set feels calming. It ransacks down to its roots, soft colours, plain lines and materials that need no explanation. It is evidence that sometimes less is indeed more.

Golden Leaf Glamour

It is a manicure with short rounded nails, decorated with metallic copper-gold leaves and with small rhinestones. The finish and raised appliques make the nails glamorous and shiny and at the same time makes them wearable in normal day life.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Golden Leaf Glamour

In the case of this design, I would use a transparent nude base, and then foil leaf charms or 3D stickers in gold color. Their attachment to Swarovski-like rhinestones gives them depth and shininess. A gel top coating keeps it all sealed and smooth.

This look can be described as luxury minimalism, which is a buzzword in the beauty industry recently. It is subtle and yet feels luxurious, just like nail jewelry.

Individually I adore the appearance because you can use it on days where you feel you need something handy. It moves smoothly between work and evening, and the rhinestones gleam most beautifully in the light.

Falling Leaves Cascade

The last appearance in this line is a celebration of autumn in all its glory: long nails polished with a shimmering champagne finish and rows of leaves falling down the length in 3D. The leaves are red, orange, and yellow in color and they almost seem to be floating through the air. It is a theatrical and magical design that captures the fall mood.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Falling Leaves Cascade

I would recreate it with a glittery base such as Essie Sequin On Life, which is neutral, then add sculpted acrylic leaves with a flowing design. A clear topcoat is used to seal the sparkle without losing the 3D detail.

When it comes to making cascading effects, nail professionals usually recommend planning the placement prior to adhering the leaves. In that manner, the flow is natural, as though the leaves falling in the wind.

I find this design to be the ultimate fall fantasy. It is audacious and dramatic and it makes me feel that I carry a fragment of the season wherever I turn. Not everyone will do it but when you want to make a statement, it does not get better than this.

Autumn Leaves in Layers

The style here is simply soft nude foundations with some delicate raised leaves in amber, red, and burnt orange. The impression is as though you had glued actual autumn leaves to your nails and frozen the leaves in their autumnal descent. Its long almond form makes it elegant and provides ample room in which to show off those fine veins in every leaf.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Autumn Leaves in Layers

In order to replicate this appearance, I would pick up some gel polishes in autumnal colors (a deep brick red, warm mustard, and chestnut brown) by brands such as OPI or CND. To achieve the raised effect, a more viscous sculpting gel or 3D nail gel paint is needed, and Born Pretty 3D gels are cheap and quality. A fine brush is important in tracing those vein-like lines.

It is unexpectedly easy to do at home: apply two coats of sheer nude polish, and cure. Traced on with a detail brush, the leaves shapes are outlined with gel paint in different strokes and every level. Allow to cure the paint under the lamp. A tip to consider is advised by nail artist Betina Goldstein, who suggests applying a layer between layers in order to lock the design in place and prevent smudging, which is good advice to follow.

To be frank, I would wear this style to any fall event, including pumpkin patches and warm dinner parties. It is accomplished but also light-hearted, like rings on your fingers that automatically set your teeth whenever you look at your cup of coffee.

Bold Oak Leaf Drama

These nails are more full-bodied in color, you know, think espresso brown and burgundy, with thick, oversized oak leaves in shiny 3D. The carved texture of the leaves provides shadows and light effects, and each nail appears to be a fragment of carved woodwork. It is dramatic yet non-obtrusive enough that it suits a person seeking a statement manicure.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Bold Oak Leaf Drama

To do this, I would use gel colors such as Essie Spice It Up or OPI Clove It or Leave It as the base color and add sculpting gel to create the relief of the leaves. The leaves come out by using darker brown in the outline and lighter tans or oranges in the highlights. A matte top finish would be a good idea to contrast the shine of the raised details.

Step-by-step: bend the nails into almonds, apply 2 layers of dark base, and draw the lines of the leaves using 3D gel. Apply depth through the addition of various tones, and allow to dry. Nail techs recommend being patient here, do not hurry the curing process or you will lose that sharp detail.

This appearance is almost like putting on an expensive leather accessory. It is warm and daring, the type of manicure that instantly transforms the most basic knit sweater into an editorial one.

Golden Leaf Accents

The manicure features classic deep red nails that touch tiny golden 3D leaves and are whispering elegance. The smooth crimson finish is more of a velvet cloth, and the metal ornamentation is a touch of jewelry. This design is a lesson in balance–solid color on the majority of nails, with only a few of them being ornamented to produce an effect.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Golden Leaf Accents

In the red, I would go with the Dior Rouge 999 Gel Shine or OPI Big Apple Red- both of these are classic rich colors. The leaves may be done in metallic foil or gold chrome powder enclosed in sculpting gel. You can also add Swarovski nail embellishments to add some extra sparkle in case you are going to an event.

I would begin with a good red manicure at home and then apply a peanut-thick coating of tacky gel polish onto the nail and then press gold foil into it. Thick top coated seal to make it durable. Celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik tends to stress the importance of sealing metallics as they tend to flake off when left uncovered.

I like this one because it is decent and you can wear it at the office, on a date or even during Thanksgiving dinner without feeling over-dressed. The 3D emphasis is minimal, though it provides the nails with that strong, seasonal shine.

Abstract Harvest Vibes

This is where fall nails get fun: matte neutral bases are adorned with 3D designs such as stalks of grain, flames, and geometric embellishments in mustard yellow and earthy colors. It is contemporary, nearly abstract art that winks at harvest time. The matte finish makes the bold forms softer.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Abstract Harvest Vibes

You would have to have sculpting gels in yellow, olive green and chocolate brown, and a matte top finish. Pigmented gels that can be used in 3D art include the brands Gelish or Kokoist, which are excellent at maintaining the shape of their gels.

To DIY: choose a base, paint and cure it and then sculpt the individual patterns using dotting tools and detail brush. If you are new into 3D work I would recommend simple motifs such as raised dots or lines. Note: You do not need to nail every nail, one or two accent nails can be sufficient to make the entire appearance pop.

I personally love this design as it is so fun, yet refined at the same time. It is the type of manicure I would wear to a local market or brunch and someone would just reach out to take my hand and ask, Where did you get those?

Pumpkin Patch Charm

It is autumn in a bottle of nail paint: matte chocolate, caramel, and cream colors with raised pumpkin lines. The pumpkins are not cute, they are stylized, almost minimalist drawings, which adds a stylish twist to the design. Combined with long almond nails, it is contemporary, but not kitschy.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Pumpkin Patch Charm

On the colors, I would pick up polishes such as OPI, Espresso Your Inner Self and Essie, Clothing Optional, as those warm coffeehouse colors. The pumpkins need to be sculpted with a gel in cream or soft beige to contrast with the darker bases. It is important here to have a matte finish, to make the pumpkins appear embossed, not shiny stickers.

To recreate at home: Dip a pumpkin with a thin brush dipped in thick gel paint onto the base shades, cure, and then draw pumpkins. Paint every pumpkin and then use a description such as stems. One trick that nail artist Sarah Bland has taught me is that when dealing with a matte finish, it is best to keep things minimalistic-less is more.

In my case, this is the type of set I would be wearing until the end of October, and even November. It is celebratory enough to be worn at Halloween parties and elegant enough to be used in daily life. Each look is holding a small pumpkin spice latte in my hand.

Caramel Elegance with Leaf Relief

This nails polish is made of glossy caramel and creamy whites with raised bronze leaves and a strip of metallic studs. The elongated almond shape is sophisticated and the 3D leaf designs are rich and seasonal. The kind of manicure that walks the fine line between minimalism and statement is it.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Caramel Elegance with Leaf Relief

I would recreate this by using colors such as the brown shade of OPI called Chocolate Moose and a clean white shade of Essie called Blanc. The leaves may be cut using a bronze gel paint including Born Pretty or CND. With the crystal accents, Swarovski or Preciosa stones are fine and will provide sparkle without overpowering the design.

At home I would begin with alternate-base colors, and then I would roll out a thick bronze gel and cut leaves, curing between lines. The studs may be pressed into a gel surface of tacky material, and covered with a builder top coating to ensure they are secured. One of the tips I once discovered in celebrity nail tech Jin Soon Choi is to maintain a balance of texture and shine, one or two decorated nails can be much more fashionable than decorating all ten.

To me, this manicure is like jewelry. It is fancy enough to go out in the evening, yet still rooted in warm, falliness. Whenever I see it, I am reminded of caramel apples at fall fairs, sweet, polished and all totally in season.

Metallic Maple Luxury

We have soft pinky-nude foundations here topped with dimensional maple leaves in copper, gold and deep wine red. The metal finish reflects light so well, as though pressed foil was pressed to life in 3D. The almond shape adds to the elegance and it is a timeless and luxurious style.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Metallic Maple Luxury

In the case of products, I would use gel paints containing metallic pigments- Kokoist and CND both have metallic gels that retain their shape when modeled. Leaf colors are best brought out on a nude base polish such as Zoya Chantal. Here a glossy top coat is necessary, to close it all up and give it that glassy look.

At home to do this I would sketch the shape of the leaves using a series of thin gel lines, then apply metallic gel paints one at a time over the top, drying between applications. To create the multi-tonal effect, mix a copper tone with gold at the ends of the leaves to resemble the way the foliage changes color in the fall. Nail artist Betina Goldstein usually recommends applying a few layers of metallics to make the finish look more natural and glowing.

I personally love this design since it is dressy but not overly so. It is the type of manicure that can take you through your daily wear to special occasions without any hitches. It is also perfect with a velvet dress or a heavy knit sweater.

Golden Minimalism with Texture

This design combines soft nude and yellow matte colors with bright gold 3D leaves. The black accent nail is textured to make it look deeper, making the set look more modern and chic. The mix of raised, smooth and matte textures makes the design visually dynamic yet refined.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Golden Minimalism with Texture

On the matte yellow, I would recommend Gelish, Don’t Pansy Around, and the black texture can be applied by adding matte top coat to sculpting gel to create that raised texture. The golden leaves are most easily done using metallic stamping gel or ready-prepared 3D nail embellishments that are sealed in with clear builder gel.

It is a time-consuming process to create this style at home: alternate matte and nude bases and then carefully place sculpted black patterns on one or two nails. Apply metallic gold leaves, and seal them. Pro nail artists tend to stress out the difference of the finishes matte and glossy, to make the details more prominent.

This manicure is modern and new almost as though fall were viewed through the prism of a designer. It is subtle, yet bold enough to surprise someone who likes simplicity yet still seeks to give acknowledgment to the richness of the season.

Bold Multicolor Foliage

And lastly, the whimsical aspect of fall nails–matte finishes using green, wine, and peach colors with clusters of formed 3D leaves using bright orange, yellow, and burgundy. The composition of the leaves gives every nail the effect of a miniature mosaic, which is full of autumn energy.

Fall Nails with 3D Effects 2025 Bold Multicolor Foliage

In the case of products, my first resort would be polishes such as OPI, My Italian is a Little Rusty, Essie, Win Me Over (olive green), and CND, Rouge Rite, that rich wine. The leaf leaves can be carved using coloured acrylic powders or pigmented 3D gels in autumnal colours. The look is completed with a matte top coat that provides the soft suede-like finish.

In my own design, I would use accent nails with multi colored leaves on one or two nails in a design and the rest would be plain matte to maintain balance. It takes time to sculpture several leaves, as each leaf has to be cured separately. Nail artists commonly claim that such designs are better applied on two or so nails, so as not to overload the set.

Personally I like this one because it is full of energy. It is less formal, more playful–as walking through a heap of crispy leaves on a brisk day. In this design, as in loose ventures and fall fetes, or because you feel seasonally sane, it perfumes seasonal joys confined in a bottle.
